About us
76BITS is the new name of a business that has been trading since 1997. Millycell Limited was originally founded by Jan Berglund and Dr Nicholas Willis both of whom worked within large enterprise IT departments before venturing into software development for their own clients.
Jan was a Data Processing Manager within FINNPAP, the Finnish Paper Mills Association and was instrumental in utilising IBM AS/400 servers and systems.
Nick has worked for a number of banks including Chase Manhattan where he was UK Vice President of Data Processing. He brings to the company a wealth of programming experience especially in the financial sector. Many of Millycell's first clients are still with the business and over time we have built a strong capability in helping small and medium enterprises get the best from technology.
We now provide full IT planning and support services to a range of clients. This side of the business has become the main focus and is led by Mikael Berglund who has been involved with the company since inception.
In 2010 Millycell was renamed 76BITS representing a formal change in focus to cater for the rapidly changing way businesses use technology and related services
